am pretty sure I am 5’4″, but I haven’t measured myself in ages. Does this count as petite?
My first blog post on here was September 2015! My very first blog was called Kelly Ruth’s Closet back in 2013. I then changed the name to Simply Glam Style in 2014… then The Glamorous Teacher in 2015. I quit teaching (lol) so it became The Glamorous Blonde. And now… my domain name is Kelly Ruth Hans. I will always be The Glamorous Blonde.
I studied Secondary Social Studies Education at Baylor University. I really loved history and my dream has always been to teach 11th grade US History. After graduating from college, I was offered a position I just could not say no to; assistant drill team director and dance teacher, another passion of mine. While I loved history, I also loved organizing, dancing, inspiring others, and choreographing. It was such an amazing year of growth, excitement, and my students that year truly impacted me in ways I never imagined.
Yes! I started my dance career when I was on Drill Team in high school (hence my first big girl job). When I went to Baylor, I was on the pom squad, the Songleaders. My last year I served as a captain. After college, I danced for the Dallas Mavericks. #dreamcometrue #MFFL. Currently, I am a freelance dance coach and choreographer.
I have in the past. For a long time, I had microbead extensions in my hair and I loved them. I also have tried tape ins (which I didn’t like) and currently use clip in extensions when I am feeling fancy or want some added volume in a braid or updo!
It changes all the time, but I do have a couple makeup tutorials on my YouTube chanel.
