How’s everyone’s month going? I’m still in shock that it is February….. not to mention about to be March! Time sure does fly by. This month, I have found some AMAZING things that I love in my closet and wanted to do a little round up of some of my favorites. I’m also talking about WHY I love certain items, including sizing details too. I hope this post is informative and helps you make any shopping decisions. What’s your must have item this month?
The Pink Sweater
I have been just loving this pink sweater lately. I wear it like once a week, I swear! The color is like nothing else in my closet, so it makes for a great statement piece. It is SOOOOO warm and cozy too. I love the oversized fit and chunky cable knit detailing. It is still freezing in Texas, so I am for sure getting a good use out of this sweater. For spring time, I can’t wait to style this with some distressed denim shorts or a cute mini skirt! The sweater is also currently on sale, so don’t wait!! Add some Barbie Pink to your closet! Also, these are my favorite pair of white jeans. Good quality, good price, AND NOT SEE-THROUGH! Also, so comfortable and soft.
Favorite Leggings
I love buying myself flowers. There is something so rewarding about it and I love the feel it adds to my room. I love putting fresh flowers on my desk and smelling them as I work! Hydrangeas are some of my favorites!! This outfit was what I wore straight from working out! I got these AMAZING leggings from MPG sport. I am typically a Lululemon girl, but these are amazing quality and not as expensive. They are part of the Julianne Hough Collection from MPG sport….so obviously I’m obsessed with them and just knew I had to get them. Whenever I wear them (currently wearing them as I write this post) I feel like Julianne Hough. TALK ABOUT MOTIVATION!!!! Β These shoes have been on repeat ever since I got them for Christmas. I wear them for all kinds of styles of workouts as well as for practice. THEY ARE AMAZING and soooo light weight!
Entire Outfit for under $100 Challenge
I was so excited about this outfit post. For a fun challenge, I decided to try to buy an ENTIRE outfit for under $100…and I succeeded! I thought this was so fun and a great way to show you can be fashionable without buying only designer clothes! This top is a sweatshirt material so it is soooooo comfortable. I love how it has lace, fringe, tassels, AND pom poms on it….the details are amazing! It is super soft and great paired with high waisted denim shorts, mini skirts, leggings, jeans, ANYTHING! Β These shorts are also a new favorite in my closet. They aren’t too short, and for me, finding decent pair of distressed high-waisted cut offs is A CHALLENGE. They always ride up while I’m walking…but these don’t! I love them. I am wearing a size small for reference and I typically wear a size 25 in jeans. These are baggy, so I love the oversized fit! Plus, I can eat all the pizza and frozen yogurt I want ;). This bag is so gorgeous and reminds me of a high end designer bag….but for NOTHING. Also, these shoes are to die for. They come in black, red, and this cute yellow! I love the ruffle. Lastly, this western style belt is under $8. HOLLA!!!

I have been loving these shoes from Skye Footwear lately. They are so comfortable and BEYOND light weight. It feels like I am not wearing a shoe. It’s crazy. I have been wearing them to teach dance in and they are so comfortable or hours. I love how “swaggy” they look. My boyfriend even wants his own pair now! HA! Love them!
Patriotic Color-block Sweater
Lastly, this sweater. It is PERFECT. It is under $50 and that is honestly such a good deal for this bad boy. I love that it is super oversized and LONG so I can wear it with leggings and feel okay. I paired it with my cut off shorts and these adorable ruffle flats again. Such a great spring transitional outfit! I’m telling you, you need to get your hands on this sweater. The perfect style, color, and fit. I like my sweaters really oversized, but because of the style of this one, I am wearing a size small and it fits perfectly!
Those are just a few of my favorite things in my closet this month. I can’t believe February is already almost over. WHERE has the time gone?! The weather in Dallas has been all kinds of crazy and I’m just craving those gorgeous spring days where you can eat lunch outside, wear sweaters with shorts, and go on long walks! Am I weird? haha! I’m leaving some other items I have been wanting/loving this month too. Hope you find something you can love as well!
