I used to make the monthly favorite posts, but I think these might be way more fun! Especially with how bizarre and, let’s be honest, straight up ANNOYING Instagram is with hiding posts and stories, here I can post literally all that I want and YOU can see it!

Dear Diary, the month of August has literally flown by. I feel like I say that every year, but this one was super fast. I started August being super MIA from the blog because I was doing all the Freelance things. I worked with a couple different high school dance teams this summer and it was the most refreshing yet stressful thing I’ve experienced in a while. This summer, I left my teaching job and started chasing after a dream; freelance choreography and mentor-ship! It was definitely an exciting summer.
August, honestly, was a weird month for work! I am working at 2 different studios now and then trying to figure out how to make my career take off. It is STRESSFUL but also so much fun. Additionally, Instagram has taken another weird pivot and hardly anyone sees my posts now. I’m like, what is going on??
This month, I am feeling so grateful for what I am doing with my career, but at the same time, I am feeling so eager for more! I even created my own dance brand website…which is still a work in progress. I am by no means a website developer, but it has been fun so far! I’m so thankful for where God has placed me so far.
In addition to trying a new career, I am also going HEATLESS!! My goal is to use no heat on my hair until October…. maybe end of October? Yikes, we will see! So far it has been at least 3 weeks and I don’t mind it! My hair feels a lot better and thicker already. If you have been contemplating trying it, I say go for it!!
I got a gorgeous new pair of HEELS! These just scream Carrie Bradshaw to me, which obviously I am obsessed about! Not only are they super cute, but they are so easy to walk in. The only problem is that they are an overseas based brand, and the boutique I got them from doesn’t have a lot in stock! But, they’re amazing so I will link them here.
ALSO, I am freaking excited. I got some Stoney Clover x Disney Princess merch!!! It is soooo adorable. I got the Princess Fanny Pack and the Cinderella Scrunchie. The quality is actually so good, all easy to clean, and I am obsessed with the patterns. When they restock, I already have my heart set on too many things. I really really want another scrunchie…. but who do I choose??
In cat news, Ella got an instagram! I have been thinking of creating an Instagram account for her since we got her over a year ago, and finally did! She is killin the instagram game!
Lastly, I went Fall Decor shopping this week. Some say it is too early, I saw it is ensuring I get what I want…and fun! I filmed a vlog while shopping, so I’m thinking this week I will edit that and upload it ASAP! I can’t wait to film a Fall Decorate with me!
