YAY! I am so excited to be getting back into my weekly favorites posts! I am constantly try new things and reviewing all these goodie on my blog and instagram that I thought it would be perfect to do a top 5 things I am thoroughly LOVING. I know I post a lot…so this should help narrow down anything you’ve been wanting to try out yourself!
Let’s just start right in… hope you enjoy!
Friday Favorites
1.Dusty Blush Quilted Jacket
I am so happy about this purchase! I was finally able to pull it out of my closet these past few weeks because it is starting to feel like Fall in Texas! On super chilly mornings, it kept me quite warm…but then wasn’t too hot in the warmer afternoon. It really is such a versatile piece.
If you aren’t a fan of pink, it also comes in this gorgeous neutral/army green color and a black that are perfect for so many different outfits. This jacket really helps polish up a look without really trying hard. BONUS: it has a fuzzy lining to make it extra a cuddly and warm!!
2. Oversized Fall Sweater
I am a big fan of sweaters….I think we all know that by now! This sweater is on my favorites list because I finally found a sweater that is not itchy, is super comfortable, and LONG! I can’t tell you how many times online a sweater looks long enough to cover my booty, and then when
I get it, it’s like a whole new sweater! And if the models are 5’9 and I’m 5’4….something weird is going on! This sweater hits all my marks and is really fun to style so many different ways. It’ affordable too and I love the color combo of the stripes!
3. My Mrs. Hans denim jacket
I got this jacket for my bachelorette (and other wedding festivities) and I just absolutely LOVE it. The quality of the denim is super nice, too. I am obsessed with how customizable it is, too. I did a ton of research before getting this jacket on the other customizable jackets out there. Most of them it I just like…adding your last name to the back. This brand, you can do literally whatever you want to your completely custom piece! Last name, hashtag, something on the front, embroidery, flowers, hearts, colors, wedding date, ANYTHING! The price doesn’t change, so make it exactly how you envision.
I got a size small and it fits me perfectly.
4. Cold Brew Coffee Order
Lately, I’ve been really tired of any sugary coffee drink. I just love the taste of coffee and sometimes all the extra stuff they put in there just annoys me..haha! Normally, my go to order is iced coffee with light cream and no sweetener from Starbucks. Recently, I’ve been getting a cold brew with light cream and it is world’s better! It’s a little bit more expensive, but way way worth it.
Starbucks has to put sweetness in their normal iced coffee because without them…it doesn’t really taste like coffee….more like just bitter water haha! The cold brews are good on their own, so the fact that the off-the-menu item doesn’t include sweetener is a GOOD SIGN. It’s so good. Give it a try if you normally like just regular iced coffee.
5. T3 Micro Wand
Honestly, when I first got my curling iron trio, I was insanely skeptical. There is so much hype around these curling tools; I just thought it was all fake.
To be completely transparent, the first month of owning a T3 curling iron, I didn’t believe the hype. I would curl my hair and it seemed….normal? But, after playing with it since August, it is now my go-to curling iron. I recommend it to everyone and I totally understand the hype. It not only curls your hair faster but your curls LAST. I was outside at a football game alllll day and my curls looked good even when I woke up the next day!
If you like to change up your hairstyle, I totally recommend getting the trio. I like the curling irons over the wands (my preference for styling), but both are great. Getting the tools that are convertible are ideal because you can gradually build up your curling iron selection, too!
