Hey everyone! I love talking about makeup.. I think we all know that. Experimenting with makeup and trying out new products has always been something I love doing. Recently, as many of you know, I tested out some products from The Perfect Face and absolutely fell in love with the products. I have never loved a makeup brand as much as I love TPF!
I also love Mac Cosmetics. I feel like you truly get quality products from the brand. Their lipsticks might just be my favorite thing ever.
I’ve rounded up some of my favorite products! These are my go to products for everyday, date night, and anything in between. Let me know if you have tried any of these out or you want to!
Face
When it comes to face products, this is the MOST important one for me. Staying power is important. There is nothing worse than putting on the perfect makeup and then an hour later it already coming off or looking TERRIBLE. No one wants cake-y makeup, am I right?!
My go to foundation is this product. I used to never wear foundation (CRAZY!!). I would just wear concealer and then set it with powder foundation. Ever since testing out this product, I wear it EVERY day. No joke. A little bit of this product goes a LONG way, so you just need to use a small amount. It is lightweight, breathable, and has such a gorgeous finish. It covers all discoloration and is truly an amazing foundation. Also, SUPER affordable. This is hands-down my favorite makeup product at the moment. I wear the color y5 when I am tan and y2 when I am not..haha!
I also always set my makeup with this amazing translucent powder. It makes your makeup look AMAZING, keeps your foundation and concealer there allll day long, and leaves such a gorgeous matte finish. My makeup look is not complete without this product. I wear the colors honeypot and the lightest shade.
Blush is also crucial for me. A good blush goes a long way. I have used a lot of different brands of blush and this one is hands-down the best one I have used. It doesn’t smear throughout the day, stays in place, and leaves your skin looking FLAWLESS. I’m serious. Amazing. I like it better than Mac (and that’s saying something!). I use the colors Doll Face and Cheeky. Check out these amazing Blush Compacts.
Lastly, another favorite for the face is this primer. Honestly, I don’t use a primer everyday. I use this primer when I am going to a special event or I have a super long day ahead of me and can’t reapply any makeup. This is a shine eliminator so it really keeps your shine at bay! Your makeup really sticks to this primer and it feels like you are wearing NO makeup. I LOVE it so much. If you are looking for a good primer, try this one out. I have used Smashbox, NYX, and Benefit primers and this one is my favorite!
Eyes
Eyeshadows. I always get so many questions about what colors I use on my eyes. I have a YouTube video here that goes step-by-step on one of my most common eye shadow looks. So check that out if you haven’t already.
These eyeshadows are my favorites right now. I ALWAYS use Tiara for the highlight and Smokin’ Hot for the crease. They are truly beautiful shades with amazing pigmentation and so easy to blend.
Another favorite of mine is to use purple! My favorite deep purple shade is Sketch by Mac. It blends amazingly and really makes your eyes pop. I use this for my outer corner and blend it into smokin’ hot. I also use this on my lower lash line and really blend it out for a natural, smokey eye look. This eye shadow compact is a game changer for me!
Lips
I LOVE lipstick. I feel like my makeup look is never complete unless I put on lipstick. My favorite color to wear everyday is Mehr by Mac. A BEAUTIFUL rosey pink color. I also love Cream Cup to layer on top. When I want a more warm matte lip color, my go to is Velvet Teddy, also by Mac. Y’all…seriously I wear these every day!
