Dear Diary….
Well, I totally skipped the month of September… but here we are! October went by so fast. I started the month off working with a school on one of their contest pieces and also decorating for Halloween in our apartment. Super festive, if I do say so myself. This month was filled with a ton of dance and freelance that kept me super busy. Can’t complain though… I love it!
Wedding Anniversary
Mr. Blonde & I celebrated our two year wedding anniversary in October as well! We stayed at The Statler in Dallas and it was SO fun. Definitely a bucket list hotel for me, so I was super excited. I can’t believe it has already been 2 years of marriage. With all the weirdness of 2020, it has definitely flown by!
Work
I was super busy with choreography and dance classes in October, which has been carrying over into November, too! Super happy to be doing what I am doing and I feel so fortunate!
Shopping
I discovered a new clothing brand called In The Style in October and WOW, y’all, I am so happy with it! They do a lot of collaborations with huge bloggers (UK based) and my favorite line is the Lorna Luxe one. I haven’t tried any of the other blogger lines, mainly because I don’t like the other bloggers, but I am sure the quality is just the same. They always have all of these sales, the products start off at a really great price point, and shipping is SUPER fast….even with being overseas! Super easy to shop and I have been super impressed with everything I have ordered. The quality of these clothes are super great, too! Thick, not see-through, and just so flattering! I am constantly looking on their website and I need to watch out….haha!
Hair
October marked the end of my No Heat Hair Routine! I officially went over 70 days without putting ANY heat on my hair! I was so proud of myself. Doing my hair always makes me feel way more put together, pretty, and polished, so forcing myself to not do it for over 2 months…. that was hard at first. I will say, over the course of a few weeks, I actually started really liking the way my hair looked air dried. You can add texture spray to give it more volume and I loved pampering my hair with masks, oils, and creams! I got pretty good at doing the heatless curls too (posted on my Instagram Reels). I genuinely didn’t feel like I needed to use heat anymore…which was crazy! Now, I use heat a couple times a week on my hair…all 100% because I have fun doing my hair and I missed curling it or blow drying it! I totally am down for doing another No Heat challenge… just gotta find the right time. Maybe in the new year?? Who is with me!?
