Another week of favorites coming your way! This week, I had a lot of work and was pretty much consumed by 8-counts. Because of that, my Friday Five favorites are maybe slightly skewed towards activewear… but what is new? I’ve been loving HIIT (high intensity interval training) workouts this week and getting back into my ab workout grind. April is a jam packed month for work, too, so I’m taking these five favorites into my week! Also, Happy Easter!!
1.Alo Yoga Set

There is something so magical about putting on a set from Alo. I don’t truly know what it is because this brand is not my favorite activewear brand… but the styles are just so timeless and I feel like a boujee baddieeee when I put a set on! I love the navy color they have and I currently have my eyes on either a pink or yellow set.
2. Tweed Skort

Aritzia has been just killing the game. I love almost everything I put on. I recently shared my new tweed skort I purchased maybe a few weeks ago now? The fit is SO good. It’s short without being too short and ultra flattering. I got the black version, but they have a couple other options, too. A great and timeless piece to have in your closet all year long!
3. Clinique Almost Lipstick

Pretty sure everyone has heard about the famous Clinique Almost Lipstick in the shade Black Honey. It is a universally flattering shade that is buttery soft, hydrating, and almost adapts to the shade of your lips. It gives your lips that “just bitten” look. For me though, my lips are naturally more pigmented, so when I wear a deeper shade I feel like it is a BOLD statement. I recently bought the lighter version called Pink Honey and I have been loving it! It provides a little bit of color that is light enough for daily wear (running errands without makeup on but want some hydration and light color on your lips). I really love the formula and am super happy with this purchase!
4. Natural Hair
I’ve been trying to embrace the natural wave with spring here! Every few months I do the whole “let’s try no heat” for a while and I’m starting to feel the pull again. Not sure if I will fully commit to absolutely no heat on my hair for an extended amount of time, but I’ve been loving embracing my natural wave pattern more often. That easy and effortless tousled hair look is SO in right now, too, which makes it easier to embrace. I just recently tried some new air dry hair products that have been fun so far! Will update you with a full review soon.
5. Ab Workouts… again
Yes, I realize I listed this last week, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t in my top 5 again! I’ve been doing f45 and the core work they do just…isn’t that hard or challenging. I’ve been loving mixing up my workouts with adding some additional core work before or after. Again, shameless plug, but my YouTube channel has some great ones!
