It’s August. Summer is coming to a close, students and teachers are going back to school, and the excitement of planning Summer Vacations is over. For some people, this is extremely hard and challenging to accept. But for us others out there….
It’s Football SEASON!!!!
That’s right! Who else loves football? I absolutely adore college football. I spent my wonderful college years cheering on the Baylor Bears while on the pom squad. It was such an AMAZING experience; one I will never forget. While on the pom squad I got to travel to bowl games, meet die hard Baylor fans, hang out with the sweetest alumni, dance at football games, perform amazing routines, and even do a Sports Illustrated Photo Shoot (whaaaat?!). These are only some of the amazing memories I have from Baylor.
So…. let’s just say that Football is near and dear to my heart. Y’all know I love Live Love Gameday, but seriously WHERE was this cute store when I was first in college?! I started wearing their stuff probably around my senior year, and ever since then, I am HOOKED.
One of Live Love Gameday’s newest additions to the “Gameday Made me Do it” line is this ADORABLE romper (I am wearing a size Small). Rompers have been the style of choice in 2017 and I don’t see that trend leaving anytime soon. This is the perfect thing to wear on gamedays. Not only is is SUPER lightweight and breathable, it is also the perfect length and oh so comfy. It is t-shirt material, so lounging around in this is perfect. I absolutely love the style of this romper!
Live Love Gameday also has another romper with an adorable football on it. Either romper is super fun and would be great for tailgates, watch parties, and/or going to a football game!
How to Style
For this romper, there are so many different ways to style it. As you can see in these photos, I paired it with one of my favorite wedges from Francesca‘s. These are SO fun and if you want to wear heels on gameday, wedges are the only thing I would recommend. Comfy and they add height!
Jewelry:
Gamedays can be SO hot in the south. I wouldn’t recommend layering with a ton of different necklaces and the like. Aim for easiness & simplicity. I would probably nix the necklaces just because you don’t want to distract from the cute graphics on the romper; however, you can totally add a cute bracelet or statement earrings to bring some more flare to this outfit.
Shoes:
Like I said before, if you want to wear a heel, definitely opt for the wedges! You can also wear cute slides, comfy loafers, and even cute tennis shoes! Comfort is key on gameday!
