Happy Monday everyone! I am absolutely in love with this gorgeous blue, lace dress from Altar’d State. If you haven’t heard of this store before or shopped here before, you need to! So many good, Christian vibes! They also have the best candles!
I love the detailing on this dress. The nude under-layer of the dress makes the lace just pop. The key-hole neckline is stunning as well. When I put on this dress, I could instantly tell that it was a QUALITY garment. This dress is perfect for August because of the color and length. I JUST LOVE LACE.
How to Style
When it comes to styling this dress, it is so simple. Depending on the occasion, this dress can be worn with heel sandals like I wore for this post. Because of the more casual heels, this outfit combo would be perfect for church, dinner date, or even a bridal shower!
For Fall:
I can’t wait for fall! With fall, comes a change in temperatures, fashion, and so much more. This dress would look amazing with nude tights and a stylish jacket like this one. You could also pair it with a nice cozy cardigan. In Texas, it doesn’t really start getting cold until December (if we are lucky), so wearing this dress well into October is totally fine!
What Shoes to wear?!
Sometimes styling outfits can be hard. You see how I styled it for ONE photoshoot, but sometimes applying that to your own life can be a challenge. This dress can be paired with so many different shoe options; you most likely already have a great pair in your wardrobe. Nude closed toe heels, Nude “strappy” heels, stylish booties, dainty flats, you name it!

When it comes to accessorizing this outfit, it is truly so easy! Because of the intricate lace detail and the key hole neckline, you don’t need to wearย necklace! I would pair this dress with simple studs (probably something sparkly or pearls) and maybe a dainty bracelet. You don’t want to wear anything that would be too distracting to the dress itself because that alone is a statement piece.
