Loving Lately | February 2025

I’m bringing back a monthly recap of things I am loving lately. From beauty to clothes to lifestyle things, here are all of my must haves from this month. February was such a short month for me. It went by SO fast compared to January…anyone else? I worked with several amazing dance teams this month, had some great Drill Team Prep classes, and am gearing up to go to Cabo on Thursday for one of our good friends’ wedding! I’ve never been to Cabo and with it being a destination wedding, it is even more exciting!

To start my monthly favorites relaunch, there is no better item than these JEANS! I’ve been obsessing over them since I purchased them back in December. They are so flattering and more importantly, comfortable. They don’t lose their shape after hours of wear and they length on me is so perfect with a little kitten heel (5’4).

I already wrote a blog post about these jeans… and here we go mentioning them again because they are just THAT good! I love the style, fit, and wash of these. Most jeans, I like wearing them in theory but hate actually wearing them. These feel like I’m wearing activewear (don’t worry…. not jeggings). These are the instasculpt version, too, so they definitely add some lifting! Super flattering. And love the bootcut!

Another fun trip we went on this month was going to Chicago. I’ve gone a couple times before, but never in the winter months. Packing for this trip was a challenge because I wanted to look chic, but how does one do that in 20 degree weather? Oh…and I walk everywhere!

This dress has also been a huge love for me. I purchased it for my trip to Chicago because I knew it was going to be cold, but I still wanted something timeless & sophisticated! This is a green velvet dress that can easily be worn year after year. In the fall/warmer months, this would be so perfect styled with boots or heels. In the winter, it was perfect with my fleece lined tights, that are also such a favorite this month. They keep you BEYOND warm.

So, why tweed (click to read)?

The Tweed Dress: Popularized by Chanel and Jackie O in 1968, this popular style has become an icon and true closet staple for men and women.

Another Chicago purchase for me. I saw this dress months ago and thought it was SO Kelly Coded, however, the price point was more than I wanted to spend. As luck would have it, the week before I left for Chicago, it went on sale! Instantly purchased.

We all know I have the need for tweed. It runs deep in my veins! This dress is beyond perfect. I’m wearing a size 2 for size reference. A classic black tweed with gold buttons. Will be wearing for years. Did I mention its on MAJOR sale right now?

This brown dress I was super skeptical of. It looked cute online, but you know how it is. I slipped it on and my first reaction was “omg I need this dress”. The fit is so spot on and the material is really light weight, so it’s easy and breathable to move in. Because it is super open back, there is a little bit of gaping on me, but I wouldn’t recommend sizing down. I also totally go bra-less in this one and its fine.

If brown isn’t your color, this dress also comes in a beautiful cherry red. AND, this dress is on a super big sale right now, too. Shop the dress here.
