The weather in Dallas has been so beautiful… and it is only March! I am itching for spring/summer season, and with that comes some of my must have sun-care essentials. From sunscreen to apparel, these are my absolute must haves for sun protection.

Supergoop Products
I am a new fan of these products. I love the glow screen because it adds the prettiest “glow” on your skin and stays on for a while even while in the ocean/pool. The mineral setting powder is also amazing when you want to set your makeup/sunscreen and add an extra layer of protection.

Other SPF Favorites
When it comes to sunscreen, my favorite brand for years has been SunBum. It is long lasting, not too greasy, and smells amazing. I’m a freak about sunscreen, so I like to use the SPF 70.
Sunnies
You will never see me without a pair of sunglasses….ever! My favorites are, of course, my Chanel sunnies because duhhhh. If you want to go more budget friendly, I’ve listed a few of my favorites below.
LARGE hat
I don’t care how extra I look; I love a hat that will not only cover your face, but will also cover your neck and shoulders. Especially if you are chillin in the pool, this is a nonnegotiable for me. Water reflects the sun, so protect your upper body (that is normally exposed in the pool) with a large hat!
Swimwear
I’m pretty picky about swimsuits. So many of them just aren’t flattering. I’ve finally found a brand that doesn’t dig in, gives your boobies a little boost, and is affordable!!! So many cute and trendy styles, too.
Coverups
Coverups can be incredible chic. I think a big part that has made me more confident going to the pool is also just dressing up for the occasion. I’m talking earrings, hats, sunnies….and of course, a stylish cover up! They definitely don’t have to be expensive to be chic.
