Bondi Boost Hair Update || Month One

So.. you want to try Bondi Boost?

I have been trying to get my hair super healthy, thick, and of course long for a while now. After getting married, I decided to start fresh and chop off 5-6 inches! I thought SURELY it would grow back. Well, it has been a year since doing that and my hair is the same length. My roots are growing, meaning that my hair most definitely is growing. I started questioning why the length wasn’t changing, but the grow-out was. That led me to the conclusion: my hair is breaking off at the ends.

I have done SO many things to try to fix this. I eat somewhat healthy, I exercise, and drink plenty of water. I use a hair mask once a week, wash my hair every 3 days, and even air dry my hair as much as possible. I am gentle when brushing my hair, massage my scalp, and use tons of heat protectant. Yet STILL, my hair wasn’t growing.

I saw a lot of sponsored content on Instagram about Bondi Boost. After lots of research, YouTube videos, and stalking their website, I decided to try out the Rapid Repair line. I thought about trying the Hair Growth line, but seeing that my roots were growing but my ends weren’t, I thought I should focus on the repair first.

It has been about a month of me using the shampoo, conditioner, and rapid growth root spray. On this post, I’m going to share my honest first impression and results so far. I will continue to update until I am done with the bottles to insure a thorough and honest review. This is in NO WAY sponsored by Bondi Boost; I bought everything myself and am doing this purely to share my results with you.

First Impression

My first wash with the shampoo and conditioner was amazing. I was so impressed. The smell is like, straight out of a designer hair salon, which is really important to me! After using the shampoo, my scalp felt very hydrated but also super clean. Such a cool feeling! The conditioner goes a long way, too, which is awesome. My hair felt very very clean, bouncy, and fresh after that first wash and I was so excited to use it again! Even my ends felt smooth and hydrated.

I’ve been using these products for about a month now. I’m not sure if my hair has grown a noticeable amount, but I can definitely tell that my hair FEELS way better. Now, my sister did give me a slight hair trim, which really helped. All in all, my hair feels thicker, stronger, and I have noticed a HUGE decrease in split ends and breakage when I brush my hair.

Here are some highlights:

Smell: 8/10. First wash I was obsessed with the smell. Smelled like a fancy hair salon. However, now that I have been using it more anymore, the smell isn’t as salon-inspired. Don’t get me wrong, it still smells good, just not obsessed with it. It smells very natural. And I don’t smell it on my hair once my hair is dried, if you care about those things.

Hydration: 10/10. These products make my hair feel so healthy. The hydration is REAL without making your hair feel weighed down and greasy. I have thick-fine hair, meaning my hair is fine/soft, but I have a lot of it. Finding a product that conditions my hair without weighing it down can be a challenge.

Repair: 10/10. I truly feel like this product keeps it’s promise. When they claimed that it would repair damage and split ends I was so skeptical. However, I have definitely noticed my hair SO much healthier and noticeably less damage/split ends. I used to always pick my ends and find so many split ends, but now I don’t!

Hair Washing: 7/10. I can normally go 3-4 days without washing it, however with this product, on day 2 my hair starts feeling thick at the root and like I need to wash it. I have definitely been wearing my hair in more low pony tails lately because of this! I think because it is so hydrating, the oil buildup on your scalp is increasing…not sure on the science, just know my experience!

Overall Rating: 9/10. I definitely recommend these products to anyone trying to make their hair healthy again. If you have noticed your hair breaking, feeling brittle, loosing shine, or anything like that, you should try out Bondi Boost Rapid Repair! I think next time I might try the Hair Growth line and update you all on that.
