AHH I still can’t believe I am getting MARRIED! I’ve always loved wearing white, so if you are like me, feel free to shop for all things white even if you aren’t getting married.
I’ve been getting so many messages about more wedding content, so I thought, OF COURSE I need to chat about what to wear to bridal events! When it comes to being a Bride, I take every opportunity to wear all white whenever I can! I just love it!! Being a bride is something I’ve been looking forward to for SO long, so you better believe I am just living it up!
Here is a quick post about different outfits to wear to all of your Bridal events. Whether it is for your Bachelorette Party or Bridal Shower, these outfits are SO cute!
Bachelorette Party
When it comes to your Bachelorette Party, I love it when Brides wear white! Depending on what you are doing, you outfit should always be classy, but still fun. Think of it this way: would you want your fiancΓ© to see you in this outfit? Yes or no (no gray area). Then think, would you want your dad to see you in this outfit? HA!
It is very popular these days to wear the skimpiest outfit out there and just have a big rager for you party. While this could be fun, maybe keep the craziness for when you are not in public. I mean…you’re getting married! This is an exciting celebration, you aren’t walking to your death! And if you do feel that way and are depressed at the thought of having only one man the rest of your life, maybe you need to reevaluate your marriage situation…haha!
But in all seriousness, you can easily find a cute “going out” dress that is still appropriate. Cut outs are fun, short lengths are fun, just be sure to pick something you won’t be embarrassed to show your kids one day!
Bridal Shower
Now, for the Bridal Shower, I think we all know to keep this one a little more classy! With all ages of family and friends being there, it’s important to keep in mind hemlines…haha! I would opt or a fun white jumpsuit, midi length dress, or a fun skirt combo. Biggest thing: spotlight will be on you for at least 2 hours, so wear something that you feel very comfortable in and won’t be pulling up or down the whole time. You may also be bending over a lot to grab gifts to open, play bridal games, or grabbing sweet treats from the dessert table! You don’t want to be self-conscious haha!
