Bachelorettes & San Antonio

This weekend was such a blast! One of my good friends is getting married in June and had her Bridal Shower and Bachelorette party this weekend. It was such a great time meeting the other bridesmaids and her close family and friends. I planned the bachelorette party, so to say I was a little stressed out making sure she would have fun might be an understatement, but it all turned out great.

We started the night all going to The River Walk in San Antonio. If you haven’t been here before, it is SUCH a cute spot to visit. There are so many unique restaurants and small stores to look at. The atmosphere was phenomenal. I went early to set up the hotel room with super cute (and very bridal) decorations so we could take lots of pictures. I bought the most amazing cupcakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes, which were a huge hit. Then, we went to this yummy Mexican food restaurant called The Iron Cactus! It was beyond delicious. They have a location in Austin and Dallas too, so if you are in that area you must try it out!

After dinner, we just walked around the River Walk and had a good time! I love going to The River Walk because it is full of life and just so cute and pretty! We all had such a great time. Once we were getting a little tired, we went back to the hotel and played a fun bachelorette game! I got some fun cards called “How well do you know the Bachelorette?” and we took turns asking each other questions about the bride. This was so fun (and sometimes surprising too!!). Definitely a must for a fun and easy going game.

Making Memories

My friend over at Live Love Gameday was so kind to design bridesmaid shirts for us for the Bachelorette Party. When I was planning the party, I knew I wanted to do something special and memorable for everyone. My first thought was t-shirts. After seeing Sydney’s shirts she made for when she had her own Bachelorette getaway, I knew I wanted her to help me out too. Sydney is such a sweet and talented friend; she was so kind to help me out. The shirts turned out amazing and even softer than I thought they would be! All of her shirts that she sells online (click here to shop!!) are all such high quality, and these were no exception to that! They were wonderfully done and I know these shirts will be a great keepsake for all of us. Thank you again for helping me make this Bachelorette Party a success!

Sunday morning

The next morning, we all went to this amazing brunch place called Magnolia Pancake Haus. It was SO good. I am a sucker from breakfast food. It was so cute and an authentic place for San Antonio, so we just had to go. Hands down the best pancakes I’ve had in a long time!

All in all, this weekend was such a blast. Congratulations to Michelle on getting hitched soon! I can’t wait until June!
