Lace & Moto: WHY?
Feminine style is a THING…but how do we incorporate new trends while still being true to ourselves?
Okay, I think we can all confirm that my “style” is definitely more on the girly side. I love pink, babydoll dresses, heels, and anything dressy. HOWEVER, I have always loved the look of leather jackets, Moto jackets, and anything more…cool. My sister is the QUEEN of this style and it always looks so good on her! I knew I couldn’t be the only girly gal out there who wanted to incorporate that look into their wardrobe but felt…awkward, so I decided to write this post!
Combining Girly Trends with Edgy Style
When it comes to styling, I’m all about pairing your super girly pieces with your leather jackets or combat boots. If the leather jacket trend is too much too soon for you, a suede Moto jacket is PERFECT. This way, you still get that same look and vibe without committing too much.
For this outfit, I put on one of my favorite white lace dresses and my most comfortable black heels. This outfit is great on its own, but I thought I would look super chic with a high pony and a suede Moto jacket. Leather/Moto jackets look great with girly dresses or tops. If you are wanting to wear leather pants, a pretty top or sweater look great. It’s all about mixing styles to create one, fun look!
