Weekend in Waco

A couple weeks (or so) ago, I made a quick trip to Waco to visit my best friend. It felt SO weird going back. Even though I just graduated from Baylor in May and I haven’t been away for that long, so much has changed. I mean…they have a Smoothie King across from campus. I remember praying that they would build one so I could get my protein shake after morning workouts before interning (early mornings and long days haha!). And of course they put one in AFTER I graduate…probably good for my bank account though….thank you Jesus! Before I met up with my friend, I caught up with another good friend who currently lives in Waco getting her master’s degree. She is an amazing photographer, so when I told her I was coming we were able to catch up and she even took some amazing pictures of me (see above for her amazing work…am I right?). She is such a joy to be around and makes anyone feel beautiful in front of a camera. She even took a look at my camera and gave me some pointers for getting the perfect shot. It was so great to learn from someone who is so humble and talented. She is such a joy to work with. If you are in Waco you NEED to contact her. Marissa has also traveled to the Austin area (and many other Texas locations) to take photos as well. She does portraits, engagements, wedding shots, bridals, and basically any photography need you could ever have. She is very talented and I can’t wait to see where this photography career of hers takes her. Check out her amazing photography on her website here and her Facebook Page here.

All photos belong to Marissa Elaine Photography. Thank you AGAIN for making me feel beautiful! You are extremely talented and such a joy to be around!
