This dress! I am so in love with this utility inspired dress for summer and into fall. It is the perfect piece. Super light weight and I love that the belt is adjustable. This would look adorable with flats (pictured here) or even a gorgeous mule. How would you style this?
Hello, lovelies! It has been a minute since I have created a blog post for you all and I am SO sorry about that. With everything going on (Quarantine, BLM, new job, married life), this platform has taken a seat behind many things. Definitely not an excuse, but just some insight as to where I have been and why.
Let me start off by saying, THANK YOU to all of my loyal readers. The gals who (hello!!) come to my blog daily and check out my new blog posts, my liketoknow.it, and of course, my youtube and instagram content. I am so beyond thankful for our Glam Squad. To think back to how much I have grown since starting this blog… it is truly amazing. Thank you for sticking around.

This has been on my heart lately and I just want to finally share my thoughts. Getting on instagram lately is challenging for me. Not physically, but mentally and emotionally. Every time I click on the app, I am bombarded with people yelling at others on their platform. I am constantly seeing so much judgement, hostility, un-researched material, and so many bandwagon-ers trying to get some “clout”…as my high schoolers would say! It is exhausting, confusing, and very eye opening.
The only thing I am going to say to address all that has been going on is this; Jesus is MY king. I read the Bible to understand Jesus. How does He instruct us to live? How does He want us to speak to others? THAT is the most important thing. My hope does not lie in an app, a political figure, a poster, a celebrity, or even…dare I say… if other’s “like” me or not. My hope is in JESUS and Jesus alone.
Too often now days, if someone has a different opinion or lifestyle than you, we like to “cancel” them. It makes it scary to breath because it might offend someone. Instead of cancelling, how about we strive to understand and look at a new perspective? Less judging, more conversations. Less critique and more listening. Less hate, and more kindness.
I hope you all know that this blog is for YOU. A place to get away from the mundane. A place of fun and fashion on the Internet.
